bio ~ ongoing

senakirfa A. is an artist, poet, writer, and learner born and based in Amsterdam. A.’s practice is grounded in the poetics of African Diasporic world-making in Amsterdam, rejecting and illuminating Dutch(ness) ocularcentrism, and attuning to the audibility of post-colonial grief.

A.’s work across sculpture, screen printing, and writing is an extension of A.’s poetry practice, through which A. explores poetic in(ter)ventions — an amalgam that signifies what African Diasporic world-making ushers.
