senakirfa A. (she/her) is an interdisciplinary artist and poet(ic learner), born and based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
A.’s work across sculpture, writing, sound, and zine-making and is an extension of A.’s poetry practice,
through which she explores what she terms poetic in(ter)ventions: an amalgam signifying what
African-Diasporic worldmaking ushers in. She organizes collective readings and poetry gatherings that facilitate Black and POC writers, poets, and readers. A. has exhibited, given readings and artist talks at Amsterdam Museum, Stedelijk Museum, OSCAM, Metro54, the Gerrit Rietveld Academie, Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, Gemaal op Zuid, and more. A. is currently awarded the 3Package Deal Fellowship by the Amsterdams Fonds voor de Kunst.
